We have a number of opportunities to produce our electricity, but we don't use our own sources, and we import energy via natural gas, petroleum... Thus our economy can't leap.
Oh, I get it now. But, I don't know if I could talk about 3 aspects because I reduced them in "the way of thinking". If I have to talk about only one aspect, I will talk about "Ignorance and naivety as the basis of the problems in Mexico." In fact, those are two aspect, but they are correlated. Could you explain me tomorrow the meaning and the pronunciation of "naivety" beacause I used Google Translate to know the correct word, but I'm not sure whether I'm OK or not.
Teacher, may I talk to you tomorrow? xD I think I'll talk about another topic, but I have to think about it again. Maybe about drug traffic. Easier! xD
On my presentation I want to talk about what in my opinion is the greatest problem that my country, Venezuela, has which is social unrest. In 2012 the crime in the country was placed in the first position like the most violent country in the world. The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Miguel Rodriguez Torres, announced, "crime in the country felt in 2013: the rate of kidnappings felt by 51.7% and 17.3% of homicides"; however, the oficial data doesn't mach with the annual report of the Venezuelan Observatory of Violence (OVV, for its acronym in Spanish) ( RodrÃguez, Alejandra 2014)
So the Civil War was the cause of the problem, but what exactly is the problem? In other words, I think one of your effects is the problem. Please clarify before starting to work on this.
The principal problem is poverty but I want to talk about social inequality because in my country is possible to find the richest man of the world and communities living in extreme poverty.
I think the problem here is poverty and then you can discuss social inequality as the cause of the problem, but be careful if you are suggesting that everyone is poor BECAUSE the one man is rich unless he's a slave owner and they're all his slaves!
And again, is this the cause of some other problem--such as poverty--or is the problem itself? What I'm trying to get it is why is social inequality a problem?
I will talk about Kurdish matter in Turkey. It is also a regional matter which goes back before the foundation of Turkish Republic. But I want to focus on the ethnic and national identities and social conflicts in Turkey related to this matter.
There are many Kurdish people living in the south east of Turkey. They have had some problems with maintaining their culture because of oppression. Beginning from 1980's, a guerrilla war by the rebellion Kurds has been going on despite some temporary withdrawals. Today, negotiations are made between actors to end the armed conflict.
Miss management of my country. How government creates inequality by declining civil rights and tried to manage country as king although my country is a democratic republic
This seems like a very big topic, too big for 8-10 minutes. You need to focus on one problem. The recent (or gradual) decline of civil rights can be your problem.
For graduate students especially. Because of the bad conditions of universities and unemployment problems lots of young and clever people move abroad... I am also in this situation, I think I can give more details about this problem.

DeleteWhat is the problem with your way of thinking?
DeleteOh, I get it now. But, I don't know if I could talk about 3 aspects because I reduced them in "the way of thinking". DeleteI will talk about Kurdish matter in Turkey. It is also a regional matter which goes back before the foundation of Turkish Republic. But I want to focus on the ethnic and national identities and social conflicts in Turkey related to this matter.
